What You Need
Ocean fishing being a journey of you against the elements fighting those British Columbian spring salmon, halibut, Ling cod and red snapper on the west coast is something you want to prepare for.
The spectacular views of passing grey and orca whale pods are fantastic but you will want to bring some items with you just in case Mother Nature decides to test you.
The Viking Master is a combination gill net trawler converted to sport fishing and will always get you home safe but consider bringing the following items.

- Fishing Licences are mandatory in British Columbia so make sure you have this before coming aboard.
- Bring warm clothing, dress in layers so that when the sun is out you can enjoy. There is a cabin on board so you may get out of the weather if you prefer.
- Fishing equipment is all provided unless if you plan to fish for Rod Cod, bottom fishing can claim many lures so come prepared with rod and lures.
- If you get sea sickness or have never been on an ocean vessel bring “Graval” just in case.
Bring liquid refreshments you prefer and some munchies for along the way; you may want to bring a cooler to keep food cold. - Any photography or filming equipment you would like to bring.
- Fishing coolers are provided to keep your catch fresh.
